What makes this Botswana & Zimbabwe safari experience unique and exclusive?
This isn’t just another safari. Every element has been carefully chosen to give you more comfort, more time in the wild, and more meaningful encounters. Here’s how this journey stands apart:
Luxury wilderness camps
You’ll stay at three of the most sought-after camps in Southern Africa: Wilderness Davison’s, Shinde, and Wilderness Chitabe. Each has its own character—whether it’s a classic tented safari in Hwange, a secluded Delta retreat surrounded by waterways, or a camp renowned for some of the best predator sightings in Botswana. These aren’t the budget lodges where you’ll find crowds and minibuses. They’re intimate camps designed for discerning travelers who value exceptional guiding, thoughtful cuisine, and the rare privilege of unhurried wildlife encounters.
More time in the wild, less time in transit
Rather than driving long, dusty hours between destinations, you’ll fly between camps on bush planes. This means more time for game drives, walking safaris, and photography—and less time stuck on the road. You’ll also experience breathtaking aerial views of the Okavango Delta, floodplains, and national parks along the way.
Small-group exclusivity
With just a handful of fellow travelers, you’ll enjoy a private and relaxed atmosphere where game drives never feel crowded. Vehicles are capped at a few guests per row, so everyone has space to capture the perfect shot or simply soak in the view.
Expert guiding & support
Your journey is hosted by Karen Tatum in partnership with Wilderness Destinations and photographer Laura Terepocki. This means you’ll not only have exceptional safari guides in each camp, but also two experts traveling with you to ensure your trip runs smoothly and that you return home with unforgettable memories captured beautifully.
