Photo Book
Laura will create a curated photo book of the safari, featuring her professional-quality images of wildlife, landscapes, and moments from participants enjoying their experience.
Includes stories about the animals, regions, and adventures we encounter.
Short Documentary
A short video capturing highlights from the trip, including interviews and experiences of the group.
Edited by Laura and delivered after the safari for you to relive your journey.

Pricing and Deposit
Pricing is based on a minimum of 10 travelers. Deposits are required to secure your spot and are non-refundable. If you must cancel, you are responsible for finding someone to take your place. Tatum’s Tailored Trips will assist but cannot guarantee a replacement.
Per person sharing: $13,060 USD
Single supplement: $2,744 USD
Deposit: 30 percent ($3,918 USD per person)

Additional Departures and Waitlist
We are keeping the group intentionally small, but if the trip fills, there will be a waitlist. If demand is high, we may open an additional departure. You will be the first to know if an extra opportunity becomes available.
Solo Travelers and Room Sharing
If you are traveling solo and want to share a room, let me know. I will introduce you to another solo traveler who has also made this request. If you then ask me to, I’ll reserve a room for you to share. This keeps the experience social and fun while maintaining the luxury of our small group.
Flights and Additional Nights
Once flight schedules are available (about 11 months before departure) I will be in contact with you to offer to help you arrange your pre-safari details - whether it’s flights, pre-safari hotel stays etc. If many of the group choose the same flights/hotels we can travel as a group.
While the core safari spans 8 nights, many travelers choose to extend their vacation with optional pre- or post-safari stays. These can be arranged individually or in groups, depending on your preferences. Whether you're interested in exploring other parts of Botswana, Zimbabwe, or nearby destinations like Cape Town, I’m here to help customize your experience.

Deposits are non-refundable.
Balance is due 75 days prior to departure.
Travel insurance is required, including medical, baggage, and trip cancellation coverage.
International flights not shown on itinerary, visas, tips, and personal expenses are not included.
Participants must provide accurate passport information and emergency contacts.
If you cancel, you are responsible for finding a replacement traveler. Tatum’s Tailored Trips will assist but cannot guarantee a replacement.
Why this safari is different
This isn’t a typical safari. You’ll spend 8 nights flying between three of Southern Africa’s most sought-after camps, Wilderness Davison’s, Shinde, and Chitabe, each chosen for its wildlife, setting, and guiding excellence.
Davison’s: Adventure-style tents in Hwange, where wildlife wanders right past camp.
Shinde: A secluded Delta retreat surrounded by waterways, with private access to land and water safaris.
Chitabe: Prime predator-viewing territory in the Okavango Delta.
With small-group game drives, expert guides, and all logistics handled for you, every moment in the bush is seamless and comfortable.
Traveling with me, your host - Karen Tatum, means you’ll have personal support throughout your safari, from coordinating logistics to ensuring a smooth, stress-free experience. Most travelers also choose to add pre- or post-safari stays to extend their adventure and I will help you make all those choices and reservations as well a little closer to the trip.
